On Saturday, August 28, 2010 join us for the second annual Paw Walk to raise money for the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV). Sign-up yourself or form a dog team and have friends and family members sponsor you as you walk to help homeless pets. You don't have to walk the full route - just go as far as your two or four legs will take you! Registration starts at 8 a.m. and people and their pets can walk between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
This isn't your typical dog walk! Creativity is encouraged and rewarded! Best Float and Best Costume will win great prizes. Don't have anything to wear? That's okay, because any walker or team that raises $75 or more will receive a FREE Dog Bandanna from HSHV. PLUS, the top individual fundraiser and top team fundraiser will win a special prize courtesy of HSHV.
There is a $15 entrance fee per dog to enter the walk with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. If you bring your pooch to participate in the walk, you'll receive one admission ticket to Paws in the Park.
